“My Country, My City, My Health” Exhibition

On the occasion of the World Health Day, the University Hospital of Rafik Hariri organized in collaboration with WHO and the municipality of Beirut an exhibition entitled “My Country, My City, My Health” on Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Biel.

Dr. Mohammad Jawad Khalifeh, the Lebanese Minister of Health, Dr. Zeki Gharib, stading for the Lebanese Minister of the Environment Mr. Mohammad Rahal, MP Ammar Houri, Dr.Wassim Wazan, the Hospital Director, Dr. Jawad Al Mahjour, the WHO Representative, and representatives of Lebanese NGOs and Institutions concerned with issues of Health and Environment.

Among the NGOs active in the field of drugs prevention and control, Jeunesse Contre la Drogue – JCD was chosen and granted a corner in the exhibition in order to publish its awareness materials. At the end of the exhibition, the Lebanese Minister of Health presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Mr. Elie Lahoud, Founder and President of the organization.
